Sodium Hyaluronate
Sodium Hyaluronate (an easily absorbed salt derived from hyaluronic acid) is a supermolecule. It’s also a glycosaminoglycan, which is a naturally occurring substance that supports the skin’s renewal, and a postbiotic, helping to strengthen and rebuild the skin’s unique microbiome.
Known for its ability to hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water, this incredibly powerful humectant is a key component to supple, soft, pleasurably smooth skin. While we naturally produce this hydration hero, the levels of hyaluronic acid in our bodies decrease over time as we age, often resulting in skin that is dry or papery and lacking glow and bounce.
Applied topically, hyaluronic acid is proven to drastically rejuvenate texture and tone while retaining moisture and softening skin, plumping existing fine lines and preventing new ones from forming.
Our hyaluronic acid is plant-derived, created from the bio-fermentation of root vegetables and natural sugars. Due to its low molecular weight, it is able to penetrate deep into the dermis where it is stored in the tissue, consistently nourishing the skin and contributing to its overall health and vitality.
