DO I NEED A MIST IN MY RITUAL? DOES IT SERVE AN ACTUAL PURPOSE?

I'm a longtime skeptic of most mists/toners on the market as they are often simply fragranced and preserved water. The Jasmine Garden is different, and 100% has a function. We recommend that you massage both The Blue Cocoon and The Youth Dew into SOAKING WET skin (skipping your towel entirely and going directly from rinsing to oils), immediately after cleansing and while skin is still soft, warm and receptive. Then follow with a generous mist of The Jasmine Garden to even further enhance penetration, while continuing massage. This sandwiching effect - water/oil/water - makes a world of difference, especially if your skin barrier is disrupted and you have difficulty absorbing oils.

You can, of course, use The Jasmine Garden before oils as well - this is nice when for whatever reason you are unable to go straight from cleansing to oils, and so do not already have a wet face. It's also fine to mist The Jasmine Garden right on top of the water if you want even more slip for your massage. Play, and discover what works best for your individual needs.

CAN I REFRIGERATE THE JASMINE GARDEN?

Yes! While this formula is shelf stable at room temperature for 12 months after opening, I absolutely adore it chilled. A cool bottle of The Jasmine Garden is a must for stressed skin prone to redness and flushing and is the perfect finish to your ritual.

I HAVE ACNE-PRONE SKIN. WILL THIS BREAK ME OUT?

The Jasmine Garden is ideal for skin prone to inflammation of all kinds, including acne. I love to keep a bottle with me at all times! When I feel a new pimple coming to the surface, a quick mist stops me from picking or itching my face, and often completely stops the progression of the breakout in its tracks!

I love to mist The Jasmine Garden lightly over my skin prior to masquing with The Honey Mud and even during! This feels especially wonderful if skin is feeling flushed or heated, so pull it out when using any active treatment that brings on a tingle.
